Blurb:

When Sarah Carter moves to Boston to escape her past she realizes there's more than meets the eye with the landlord and her mysterious new best friend. What happened to the owner of this Boston brownstone and what secrets lie within its walls and continue to torment? Witchcraft, curses and timeless love are not what Sarah expected to find in Boston, but as she learns more, she wonders is she actually running back to her past instead of from it?

Author Information:

Writing is a major part of my professional career, however, I wanted to expand beyond financial communications -- and I have done just that by writing and publishing contemporary and paranormal romance novels.

My debut novel titled The Dating Intervention was released late summer 2012 and a second novel, titled Cursed, was released in December 2012. In addition, a short story, Daydreams (2011), was selected for an anthology published by Outskirts Press and was since published as a featured short story in Signs ~ A Collection of Short Stories (March 2013). Yankee Swap, a lighthearted romance short story was released November 30, 2013 for the holidays.  Cursed, The Dating Intervention, Signs and Yankee Swap are all available in paperback and ebook format and several other novels are underway.

Born and raised in the Greater Boston area, I pursue my writing and artwork every chance I get while enjoying an active family life with my two children and dog, Fenway.

Review:

Imagine having lived over 100 years due to a curse?  What you would have seen and the changes that would have occurred.  Then imagine finding true love and having it reversed and being able to start over.  Wouldn’t that be amazing?  This story is a sort of retelling of Beauty and the Beast where the beauty is able to see past the disfigurement of the beast to his true self and love him for that… with a little magic thrown in for fun.

I give this story 4 out of 5 clouds.
